EPDM cold shrink tube with built-in mastic is made of EPDM rubber, which contains no chlorides of sulphur.They are a series of open-ended,tubular rubber sleeves, which are factory expanded and assembled onto a removable core. The core will be removed after the tube has been positioned for installation over an in line connection,coupling,termination etc.,allowing the tube to shrink and form a waterproof seal.Cold shrink tubing is an ideal sealing product for communication cables, coaxial cables,medium and low voltage power cables.
