EUE K55 Tubing Pipes from Hebei Borun Petroleum Pipe

Tubing is pipe used for the transportation of crude oil and natural gas from an oil or gas layer to the surface after drilling is complete. It is made to withstand the pressure generated from the extraction process. Tubing is manufactured in the same way as casing, except that an additional process known as "upsetting" is applied to thicken the pipes.

K55 API seamless casing pipe or tubing pipe is similar to J55 . They stay the same in chemical composition and yield strength; however, the tensile strength of K55 is higher than J55 grade. They are almost the same when it comes the price and applications. Generally, customers prefer to K55 when the casing pipes are to be used in water wells.
