Hall Effect Linear Actuator 30mm Magnetic Linear Actuator High Frequency Of Movement
Cylindrical Voice Coil Motor (VCM) has a wide range of applications
in camera focusing systems, especially in modern digital cameras
and smartphone cameras. The principle of operation is that a
cylindrical voice coil motor consists of a fixed magnetic field and
a moving coil. When an electric current is passed through the coil,
the coil is subjected to a force in the magnetic field that
produces linear motion. This motion can be controlled very
precisely.
Camera focusing systems typically utilize closed-loop control, with
real-time feedback of the lens position from a position sensor
(such as a Hall sensor or an optical sensor). Based on the
feedback, the current in the coil is adjusted to precisely control
the position of the lens and achieve fast and accurate focusing.
The method of its use is Autofocus (AF), in which a cylindrical
voice coil motor changes the focal length by controlling the
forward and backward movement of the lens group to achieve focusing
in an autofocus system. The camera's built-in autofocus algorithm
adjusts the current of the VCM according to the feedback from the
image sensor to achieve fast and accurate focusing.
In addition to the focusing function, the Cylindrical Voice Coil
Motor can also be used for Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).The
VCM compensates for hand-shake or other minor movements by
fine-tuning the position of the lens group to maintain image
stabilization. This is very helpful in improving the clarity of
captured images and videos.
