FTTX storage module application: FTTH field Traditional solutions use ONU or FDH (Optical Network Unit/Fiber Distribution Hub), which can be used in luxury homes and villas when the trunk cable reaches the outside. The FTTX housing can replace ONU or FDH because it has fiber optic distribution function. Inside, it can fix 2-4pcs of 1 * 8 or 1 * 16 PLCs and place 24pcs of fiber optic connector protective sleeves. After matching with the 1-48F IP67 pre - assemble waterproof connectors, the FTTX housing can directly connect to every mansion and villa or low-voltage silo. It can be fixed outside luxury villas or installed with a pull rod. The FTTX shell can reduce signal loss by having fewer connection nodes. In front of the factory - the FTTX casing has been assembled, and it does not require highly skilled operators due to the lack of fiber optic connector operation. Installation efficiency can be increased by 40%.

FTTA field Traditionally, remote radio units (RRUs) and building baseband units (BBUs) are connected through fiber optic cables in a formed star network topology. Each RRU requires a duplex outdoor cable to connect to the BBU. Installation will require more time and the cost will be high. The FTTX chassis works as an aggregation/tagging box, linking RRU and BBU together. From BBU to FTTX casing, only one multi fiber hybrid cable is needed. Then the FTTX casing divides the optical fibers into each RRU assembled waterproof cable assembly using IP67 pre. RRU can obtain power through the power connector assembled on the FTTX housing. It can avoid unnecessary repetition.

Trunk cable connection Due to the limited length of each drum cable, trunk cables require frequent fusion welding. So the connection point is weak and requires good protection. When the trunk cable enters the FTTX casing, it will be sealed and fixed with a torsion resistant cable gland (plastic or metal type). For cables with an outer diameter of 5mm and 14mm, the FTTX casing has different accessories. Twisting the gland can release stress when the trunk cable is bent and protect the optical fiber from breakage. Inside the FTTX casing, the main cable and strength components are fixed with fasteners to ensure that the box can withstand a long-term tensile force of 1200N. Splicing protective sleeves (up to 24) and PLCs (up to 2) can be fixed to the body, making it very easy to separate the fiber optic of the FTTX casing. The anti slip design on the base ensures that the FTTX casing is securely fixed to the wires/poles.

Exploration or military communication During exploration or military communication, cables will often be replayed. Normal connectors and cables cannot stand frequently and undergo high intensity pulling and reuse. Within the FTTX casing, armored cables and strength components are fixed with fasteners in the following ways to ensure that the box can withstand a long-term tensile force of 1200N. It is very suitable for on-site use, especially for communication in star networks. High strength materials and curved interface design ensure that the FTTX casing operates abnormally when subjected to impact.
