The AB 1794-OE12 is a Flex I/O analog module. This module's data format is left justified and 16-bit 2's complement. This module comes with a green/red power/status on-indicator and a #4 keyswitch position indicator. Terminal base units compatible with this module are the 1794-TB3G, 1794-TB3GS, 1794-TB3GK, and the 1794-TB3GKS units. Note that this module is not supported by the 1747-SN or the 1747-BSN for use on an RIO device with SLC controllers. No further calibration is required for the 1794-OE12 module since it has been factory-calibrated already. It measures 3.7 x 3.7 x 2.1 inches and has an open-style enclosure. It can be mounted using a DIN rail mount.

The 1794-OE12 module will have an output of 0 mA until it has been configured. After configuration, the output signal ranges are 4-20 mA and 0-20 mA, both of which are user-configurable. Its nominal output voltage range is from -10-10V. This module has an mA output resistive load of 0-750 Ω at 24V DC and a maximum voltage output current load of 3 mA. Its current resolution is 0.641 µA/cnt and its voltage resolution is 320 µV/cnt. The nominal external DC power supply of this module is 24V DC and the external DC power supply voltage range is from 10-31.2V DC, including the 5% AC ripple. This module has external DC power supply currents of 720 mA at 10V DC and 320 mA at 24V DC. The 1794-OE12 module also has a FlexBus current of 80 mA and a continuous isolation voltage of 50V that has been tested at 850V DC for 60 seconds, particularly between the user power to the system.
