ISO 19336-2015 Polyarylate Fibre Ropes For Offshore Station Keeping is made of high-tenacity Polyarylate fibre,wih an average tenacity not less than 1.8 N/tex.It shall comprise a rope core,providing intended strength and stiffness,and a cover.When polyester yarns used in the protective cover,its minimum tenacity shall be 0.73 N/tex. The protection shall be water-permeable and protect the rope core from mechanical damage during handling and in service.The minimum tenacity of Polyarylate rope core shall be 0.9 N/tex. It shall have types of construction as torque-neutral or torque matche which will be specified by the purchaser.TF type is intended for use in mooring systems together with chain or torque-neutral sprial strand wire ropes.TM type is intended for use in mooring systems together with six-strand wire ropes or other torque-neutral wire ropes.
