Product Descrption of the cable gland

• Material: Adopting nylon PA66 certificated by UL
• Weather strip: Nitrile butadiene rybber(NBR), Weathering-resistance rubber(EPDM)
• Working temperature: -40 °C to 100 °C in static state, instantaneous heat resistance up to 120 °C;-20 °C to 80°C in dynamic state, instantaneous heat resistance up to 100 °C
• Characteristics: IP68(Rotate the part, and use O ring)
• Color: Black(RAL9005), light grey(RAL7035), as well as special colors that can be designed at request
• Thread length: Standard thread type is used for the equipment which has inner thread or for the board.Longer thread type is used for the thick board.
• Function: Extremely easy installation, simply insert cable through the assembled gland and tighten gland locknut until cable is secured. These products are designed to withstand water, dust, salt,acid-base, alcohol, oil and common solvent.

Installation attention

Conductor-to-conductor connections require low resistance and sufficient mechanical strength, and sharp angles cannot be found at the junctions. Connection of conductors for medium and low voltage cables is usually pressed.

(1) Choose suitable conductors and connecting pipes with electrical conductivity and mechanical strength;

(2) The gap between the inner diameter of the pressure pipeline and the outer diameter of the connecting core is 0.8-1.4 mm.

(3) The resistance of the joints after bonding shall not be higher than 1.2 times that of the conductors with equal cross-section, and the tensile strength of the joints of copper conductors shall not be lower than 60N/mm2.

(4) Before pressing, the inner surface of the connecting pipe is coated with conductive adhesive, and the oxide film is destroyed by wire brush.

(5) The sharp corners and burrs connecting pipes and wires shall be polished with a file or sandpaper.
