Mult istranded Self Bonding Copper Litz Wire Taped Mylar Litz Wire With High Voltage
High frequency litz wire is made of single insulated copper wires twisted together.
Insulation of copper wires is made of polyurethane. This fact makes
it easy to tin terminals of winding. High dielectric strenght can
be achieved by one or multiple wrapping polyester tape (Mylar),
polimide tape, kapton tape, etc. Despite this, the litz wire has an
excellent flexibility.
Usually litz wire is supplied in round cross-section. However it
can be profiled and made in square or rectangular cross section to
optimize the winding area.
