Flexible Disc Coupling consists of several groups of diaphragms (stainless steel sheets) that are staggeredly connected with the two halves of the coupling with bolts. Each group of diaphragms is formed by stacking several pieces. The diaphragms are divided into connecting rod type and whole-piece type with different shapes .
Flexible Disc Coupling relies on the elastic deformation of the diaphragm to compensate the relative displacement of the two connected shafts. It is a high-performance flexible coupling with strong metal elements. It does not need to be lubricated. It has a compact structure, high strength, long service life, and no need for lubrication. Rotation clearance, not affected by temperature and oil pollution.
