Working principle

The working principle of the decanter centrifuge is as follows: the bowl and the screw rotate at a high speed in the same direction at a certain differential speed, and the material is continuously introduced into the inner cylinder of the conveying screw from the feeding pipe, and then enters the bowl after being accelerated, under the action of the centrifugal force field, the heavier solids are deposited on the bowl wall to form a sediment layer. The conveying screw continuously pushes the deposited solid phase to the cone end of the rotating bowl and discharges it out of the machine through the slag discharge port. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which continuously overflows the bowl from the overflow port at the large end of the bowl, and is discharged out of the machine through the liquid discharge port, so as to achieve the purpose of extraction and separation.
