The Nema 17 Stepper Motor Bipolar with 13.7:1 Planetary Gearbox is a stepper motor with 34mm body and 1.33A rated current, integrated a planetary gearbox of 13.7:1 gear ratio. Adding a gearbox to a stepper motor system can improve the motor’s performance by decreasing the load-to-motor inertia ratio, increasing torque to the load, and reducing motor oscillations.


Compared to the other two types of stepper motors, hybrid stepper motors provide higher torque with smaller step angle and have a better dynamic property.
