Product Introduction

Choke valve is a main component of Christmas tree, is design to control production rate of the oil well, with working pressure up to 15000psi. Choke valves can be classified as follows: adjustable choke valves and positive choke valves. By rotating hand wheel to move the stem, the adjustable choke valve is designed to adjust the effective area available for the flow to accomplish control of production rate. The positive choke valve is design to accomplish control of production rate by changing flow beans.choke valves are supplied in two types: Positive and Adjustable. It's designed as per API 6A, API 16C, NACE MR0175, the structure Type: needle, barrel, cage, orifice and wedge.

The product is designed and manufactured accord-ing to API Spec 6A "Equipment Specification of Well-head & X'mas tree" and matched and interchangeablewith any equipment which conforms to API 6Aspecification.

It creates the metal-to-metal seal by the pressureof the medium, the more the pressure is, the better thesealing effect is. Anytime the valve chamber can bearthe pressure of the pipeline.

Operation instruction

According to medium flow direction and by the flowdirection indicating plate of the valve, the valve isinstalled. As positive flowing, The medium lifts the valvecore and pass easily; If no positive medium pressure,valve core will self-shut off valve gate under self-weightand spring's tensile force, the back medium flowing stop.

• The coupling nut used for connecting the bonnet and body allows fast make-up and break-out.
• Stem tip and bean adaptor are fabricated from special carbide alloys for corrosion and abrasion resistance.
• Indicator lens with scale marks allows the operator to know stem's position and actual orifice area.
• Turn hand wheel counter-clockwise and the valve will open; turn hand wheel clockwise and the valve will close.
