Applications:

Overhead insulated cable is an overhead wire equipped with an insulating layer and a protective sheath. It is a special cable manufactured by a production process similar to that of a cross-linked cable. It is a new power transmission method between overhead wires and underground cables. Overhead cables are single-core, and can be divided into hard aluminum wire structure, hard drawn copper wire structure, aluminum alloy wire structure, steel core or aluminum alloy core support structure and self-supporting three-core pattern structure (wire The core can be hard aluminum or hard copper wire) and so on. It has the main characteristics of high reliability of power supply, good power supply safety, convenient installation and maintenance, and reasonable economy. Its main technical parameters include weather resistance, insulation level, internal and external semi-conductive shielding layer. Overhead cables are widely used in power transmission at home and abroad.

Construction:

The aluminum conductor is concentric stranded and compressed 1350-H19 aluminum. Insulated with polyethylene or crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE).

During storage, the cable should be packed in a standardized manner, avoid long-term open-air exposure, and both ends should be sealed reliably. Long-term storage in a humid environment is not allowed, and the cable tray should not be stored flat. The height of the tray should be considered and fixed effectively during transportation. Multiple pallets are not allowed to be lifted at the same time when lifting, and pushing down from high places is strictly prohibited.

Special tools should be used for cable laying, such as cable release frame, guide roller, etc., to prevent mechanical damage during laying and keep away from heat sources. When laying cables through pipes, the inner diameter of the pipes should not be less than 1.5 times the outer diameter of the cables. When multiple cables pass through the pipeline, it is prohibited to squeeze the cables. The total area of the cable should not exceed 40% of the total area of the pipe.
