The 2711P-T6C20D8 is a PanelView Plus 6 - 600 Terminal that is made by AB. The 2711P-T6C20D8 is an operator interface that allows the operators to monitor, manage, and display application status information about the machine. This terminal has modular components that allow for flexible configuration, installation, and upgrades. This unit is powered via 24 Volts DC input power. It comes with USB, RS-232, and Ethernet ports for communication with other devices. As a part of the 600 Series of the AB PanelView Plus 6 terminals, the 2711P-T6C20D8 offers the open-platform flexibility of the Windows CE operating system and it offers compatibility with the FactoryTalk View Studio Machine Edition software. The 2711P-T6C20D8 also comes with developed software and with a feature for the real-time monitoring of terminal displays through a web browser. This is a common feature of all the AB PanelView Plus 6 HMI panels.

The AB 2711P-T6C20D8 processor's speed has increased from 350 MHz to 1 GHz and the screen transition rate is approximately 70% faster than the same rate in previous models. The system memory has been increased from 64 MB of RAM to 256 MB of RAM and the flash storage space has increased from 64 MB to 512 MB. The illumination power of the backlight displays has also increased. Additionally, the 2711P-T6C20D8 provides greater connectivity to a variety of external hardware options such as printers, mice, and keyboards. This PanelView Plus 6 2711P-T6C20D8 supports ActiveX Controls and it integrates with third-party software such as Microsoft Internet Explorer. Optional communication modules can be ordered for additional network communication.
