The drop type fuse is a kind of short circuit protection switch commonly used in branch lines of 10KV distribution lines and distribution transformers.It has the characteristics of economy, convenient operation and strong ability to adapt to outdoor environment. It is widely used in 10KV distribution lines and primary side of distribution transformers as protection and equipment on and off operation.
Outdoor drop type fuse is suitable for ac 50HZ, rated voltage 10KV power system.Used for overload and short circuit protection of transmission and distribution lines and power transformers as well as for separating and closing the rated load current.

The drop type fuse is installed on the branch line of 10KV distribution line, which can reduce the power failure scope.Because it has an obvious disconnect point, with the function of the isolation switch, to the maintenance section lines and equipment to create a safe operating environment, increase the sense of security of maintenance personnel.Installed on the distribution transformer, it can be used as the main protection of the distribution transformer, so it is popular in the 10KV distribution line and distribution transformer.
