Rubber Cushion Impact Troughing Idlers - 4'' Diameter Color Material
Idler is one of the key components that affect the use effect of screw conveyor. According to the different uses of idler, it can be divided into three kinds: Bearing idler, no-load idler and special idler. Special idlers can be divided into buffer idlers, centering idlers and anti deflection retaining rollers. If according to the supporting way of idler, it can be divided into bracket type and hanging type. Next, for you to analyze the causes of conveyor idler failure and Troubleshooting:
Spiral Conveyor Rollers Rubber Cushion Impact Troughing Idlers - 4'' Diameter

1. Conveyor outer drum
In places with corrosive substances such as salt spray, the surface
of the outer cylinder is seriously corroded, which will accelerate
the wear of the conveyor belt. In order to solve this problem, a
160mm antistatic reinforced nylon outer cylinder is developed,
which is a new way to prevent the corrosion of the outer cylinder.
2. Sealing of conveyor idler
The idlers often work under dusty conditions, and sometimes the
idling idlers are still running in slime water. The rainwater on
both sides of the trough idlers of outdoor conveyors will penetrate
along the gap of the shaft end, causing the bearing dust cover and
its cage to rust and the grease to deteriorate. It is an effective
measure to improve the sealing structure and the service life of
the roller.
3. Conveyor hand roll grease.
The roller should use lithium base grease, which has high dropping
point, is not easy to lose grease, and is not easy to deteriorate
and caking, which can prolong the service life of roller and reduce
friction resistance.
4. Bearing of conveyor
Bearing failure is mainly due to moisture, dust or foreign matter
intrusion, so that bearing corrosion, grease deterioration caused.
Increasing the diameter of the ball, adopting single side open
nylon cage and increasing the axial clearance of the special roller
bearing can effectively prevent the bearing from sticking. Its
service life is more than five times of that of ordinary bearings,
and its power consumption can be reduced by about 18%.
