Overview

Universal hot line clamp is a clamp for overhead hot line work in power lin application. It greatly facilitates connection and disconnection of a tap wire, with a high degree of safety and with the elimination of arcing when the connection is made or broken.

1- Brass and aluminum alloy castings offer high strength, corrosion-resistance and conductor compatibility
2-Extended jaw width means excellent conductor contact, reduced joint temperature, minimal conductor cold flow and reduced twisting of the conductor during installation
3-Spring loaded feature compensates for cold flow and offsets tightening torque vibrations
4-Forged eyebolts provide corrosion free strength and uniformed expansion under loading
5-The side positioned tap connection prevents possible corrosion of conductor or clamp on bimetal connections
