PVC Insulated Yellow Green Flexible Building Wire 10mm2 16mm2 25mm2
APPLICATION:
For use on single phase and three phase dry fixed wiring systems operating at not more than 450V between phase to earth or 750 V phase to phase at maximum conductor temperatures of 70 °C for continuous normal operation and 160 °C for short circuit. Suitable only when enclosed in a metallic or non-metallic conduit, ducting or trunking (see Methods of Installation overleaf). Also for installation inside appliances, switchgear and control gear and in or on lighting fittings.
STANDARDS:
Conforms to IEC 60227-3 for type 227 IEC 01, HD 21.3 S3:1995, BS6004 and DIN VDE 0281-3
CONSTRUCTION:
Copper single wire or stranded compacted circular conductor; extruded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) colored insulation applied
Annealed copper single wire or stranded compacted circular conductor according to IEC 60228 class 1 or class 2.
INSULATION
- Directly over the conductor shall be applied a homogeneous wall of PVC insulation. The average thickness shall be not less than the given in the attached table.
- Properties of the insulation shall be in accordance with any of the following standards: IEC 60227-3, HD 21.3 S3:1995, BS6004, DIN VDE 0281-3 or Israeli Standards 473.1.
