About 2711P-RN10H

The 2711P-RN10H module is a DeviceNet communication module that has been designed by to be used specifically with the following operator interface devices, the PanelView Plus and the PanelView Plus CE 700 to 1500 terminals. These operator interface devices must be updated with the firmware version 3.16 or later in order to be compatible with the 2711P-RN10H DeviceNet communication module. DeviceNet is a communication protocol that is widely used in the automation and control industries. It works with a backbone mechanism and it is one of the most commonly used communication protocols in industrial settings, and it is used in several devices due to its great application advantages.

The 2711P-RN10H DeviceNet communication module is composed of several parts that are important since these parts indicate the current status of the module. The module comes with a NET status indicator, with several ports (red, white, shield, blue, and black ports), a MOD status indicator, and an I/O status indicator. It is not recommended to disconnect any communication cable while the power is applied to the device or to any device connected to it.
