1. Product application

The device is used to evaluate the impact of the product on the performance of the product when it is unexpectedly dropped during the actual use of the product. It is suitable for small-sized electronic products such as mobile phones, PADs, e-books, and electronic dictionaries to be tested for drop in a specified direction or specified position.

2. System structure and principle

Principle Description: The system uses the touch screen to communicate with the PLC, controls the servo motor to drive the suction cup clamp on the drop mechanism to lift, and cooperates with the action of the unhooking device and the suction cup to realize the drop test. 3 different direction suction cups to meet the user's drop test of product edges, corners and faces.

3. Product features

3.1 Double column linear bearing guidance, servo motor + timing belt drive lifting, can set the test height arbitrarily, external encoder directly detects the actual rising position, positioning is more accurate

3.2 Three different angles of suction cups to achieve multi-angle test of samples, automatic inductive adsorption function, two suction cups at each angle, avoiding angle inversion when falling vertically

3.3 Touch screen + high response PLC control, and all electrical control parts use complete sets of imported products, the response speed is faster, the operation is more stable, and the data such as acceleration, maximum landing speed and test time can be measured.

3.4 Fully enclosed peripheral frame and screened door with electromagnetic lock provide more reliable protection for the operator's safety

3.5 Select high-flow vacuum generator for greater suction and test for larger samples

3.6 Fast vacuum compensation function to reduce the adhesion of test samples and suction cups, and the drop is more accurate

5. Technical parameters

5.1 Drop height: It can be set within the range of 400-1800mm, the displacement accuracy is ±1mm, and the full acceleration during the drop: the error is within 0.2g. The sample was controlled to fall from a height of 1 m through the device and the instantaneous velocity when contacting the floor was >4.2 m/s. Drop surface deviation: the product orientation and the initial deflection are not more than 5° when landing. If it is greater than 5°, it is a failed drop test; the success rate of controlled drop is >99%.

5.2 Drop angle: 0°, 45°, 90°, 2 large faces, 4 facets, 8 edges and 4 corners of the rectangular sample that can be dropped

White granitic granite, the surface is polished, no obvious scratches, holes and dents; thickness is 49 ~ 51mm; flatness <1mm. After being fixedly placed on the drop machine, the steel ball of mass 32g is free to fall from a height of 50cm, and the height of the bounce is 30-40cm; the height is freely dropped from the height of 100cm, and the bounce height ranges from 70 to 80cm.

Inspection method: use a vacuum cleaner and a rag to remove the surface, and then touch the surface with the palm to visually feel whether there is a bump; if you can feel the thorns intuitively, the surface is unqualified.

Wood board: 3cm thick high density wood board. The quality 130g steel ball falls from a height of 50cm, the bounce height is 10-15cm; the height falls from 70cm, and the bounce height is 15cm-20cm.

5.9 Drop surface roughness: The roughness values ​​of marble and cement boards are 0.59μm and 1.29μm, respectively (reference data)
