TANKII 45CT wire are resistant to sulfide corrosion and high temperature. 45CT coating is very effective for the long-term protection of high temperature corrosion for the four tubes of boilers , it can form a layer of high density of Cr2O3 film, it has high resistant to the corrosive gases such as "sulfur, vanadium" which from the boiler when it works. It can be resistance to the corrosion of sulfur and vanadium gases in the high temperature close to 980 ℃.The thickness of the coating in the pulverized coal furnace was almost unchanged after 24 months, and no peeling occurred. It is estimated that the average erosion rate <0.013mm / year. Can improve the life of the boiler four-pipe service period of 7-9 years.

TANKII 45CT can be used either double wire arc spray or flame spray (high power spray gun is better). Among them, arc spraying has high reliability, and is more economical than supersonic spraying and plasma spraying. Arc wire coating compared to powder coating has deposition of high efficiency, less pollution.

This material has proven very effective in providing long term protection to boiler tubes against high temperature sulfidation. The wrought material is highly resistant to sulfur/vanadium atmospheres up to 1800°F. Wrought material of this type has shown a 2 mil per year corrosion rate over a nine year period when used in the super heater section of boilers. Coatings of 45CT wire applied to boiler tubes have shown virtually no loss of thickness or spalling after 24 months of service (as of this writing).
