Cordierite is the best material for thermal shock resistance, if you heat up to 1000℃, then put it in cold water, it will not have any crack and bending, it can be used for long long times under 1280℃.

Some customer say using temperature is 1300℃, actually real using temperature is about 1200℃, cordierite can be used in such temperature.

Cordierite can be used in shuttle kiln, tunnel kiln, pusher kiln.
