The Outdoor Telecom Cabinet is widely used in wireless communication base station, such as 3G system, communication/network integrated service, access/transmission switching station, emergency communication/transmission, etc.

3. Features

3.1 The cabinet is dustproof, sunproof and rainproof, which is suitable for outdoor environment.

3.2 -48V LED lamps is installed inside the cabinet.

3.3 The layout of the cabinet is reasonable, which will facilitate cable access, fixing and grounding. There’re entrance holes individually for power cable, signal cable and optical cable.

3.4 All the cables used in the cabinet are made from flame retardant materials.

3.5 Material: hot dip galvanized steel

3.6 Surface treatment: degreasing, derusting, rustproof phosphating (or galvanizing), powder coated.

3.7 Cabinet load bearing: ≥600kg

3.8 Ingress Protection: IP55

3.9 Flame retardance: comply with GB5169.7 test A

3.10 Insulation resistance: the insulation resistance between grounding devices and cabinet

body parts is not lower than 2X104M/500V(DC).

3.11 Withstand voltage: the withstand voltage between grounding devices and cabinet body

parts is not lower than 3000V(DC)/1min.

3.12 Mechanical strength: each surface can bear upright pressure＞980N; after the door is open, its outer end can bear upright pressure ＞200N.

5. Description

5.1 Structure

The cabinet is made of 1.5mm hot dip galvanized steel, and consists of outer cabinet body and inner accessories. The cabinet includes two equipment compartments. It is easy for installation and with perfect sealing performance.

Door and Door Lock: The cabinet door uses embedded structure. The door opening angle is larger than 110° and the door limit device can limit the opening angle. The lock is theftproof three point lock. There’s open door alarm sensor, which works together with the environment monitoring unit.

5.2 Components Installation

5.2.1 LED lamp, fans, smoke sensor and door sensor are installed at the top of the cabinet.

5.2.2 Environment monitoring unit and PDU are installed on 19” rack.

5.2.3 Water sensor is installed at the bottom of the cabinet.

5.2.4 Two temperature and humidity sensors are installed at the side inside the cabinet.

Feeder cable and other external cables all use bottom wiring method.

5.2.7 Grounding Protection

• The cabinet includes grounding copper bar with anti-corrosion coating. There are enough screws for wiring connection terminals.
• The metal part of the cabinet should be interconnected and be connected with grounding bar. Connection resistance between any two points is lower than 0.1Ω.
• Protective earthing of other equipments inside the cabinet should be connected to the grounding bar.

5.2.8 Door lock theft proof design

• Damage resistance of the theft proof lock meets GA/T 73-1994 “Mechanical Anti-theft Lock” class B requirement, supporting padlock.

• Three point lock

5.2.9 Connection and Fastening

• Use anti-loose threaded connection as structure and bearer connection. Anchor bolt for fixing cabinet use hot dip galvanized bolts.
• Door hinges use inner hinge mode.

5.3.0 Appearance and Surface Treatment

Cabinet surface coating is outdoor special powder coating, with white gray color (PANTONE 428C). The coating complies with GB/T 3181-2008 requirement.
