Cartridge heaters are most frequently used for heating metal parts by insertion into drilled holes. For easy installation, the heaters are made slightly undersize relative to their nominal diameter. ​

1. Inside magnesium oxide insulation material: 99.99% high purity magnesium oxide

2. Heating element: high durance and high temperature NiCr2080 heating elements from Germany

3. TC material: High quality TC elements to ensure ±5 ℃tolerance

4. Max working temperature: 400℃

6. Less than 0.5mA leak under 1000V for 30 seconds

7. OD range: 3mm-32mm

8. The range of the Total Length: 25mm----2500mm

9. Maximum power density: 40w/cm²

10. Unheated zone: 10mm at lead end and about 5mm at bottom

11. Lead options:

A: Solid Nickel Pin: wire 300℃ or 500℃

B: Swaged in wire: 500℃ wire coming from inside

Applications:

Usually, cartridge heaters are used to heat solids such as injection presses heating plates or various tools; On the other hand, they are also used for heating up water and gases under certain conditions. Especially, it is widely used in automotive industry. Cartridge heaters are also commonly found in the chemical, electronics, medical equipment, packing and nuclear industries.
