The 3M MetPak 2-FB Inverse Socket, MP2 Series, is a 2 mm, 5-row vertical connector designed for backplane applications. It features a guiding alignment feature to prevent bent pins and is footprint compatible with standard Futurebus+. Ideal for hot-swapping, this end-to-end stackable socket offers an offset dual-beam contact to minimize insertion force. It mates with MP2-P and MP2-PS Series and includes rear plug-up tails for midplane applications. Compliance information (RIA E1 & C1) is available.
