The Amphenol MRJ series offers a rugged RJ45 connector system designed for harsh environments utilizing the Ethernet/IP protocol. This connector system provides standard RJ45 interface with IP67 protection according to IEC 60529 specification and supports Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T) data rates. Available in right-angle and vertical PCB tail termination styles, with options for 8 or 10 positions, LED indicators, EMI ferrite filtering, and various PCB mounting configurations including matching RJ connectors, cable headers, terminal blocks, or for hand wiring. Both termination styles feature dust covers for enhanced mating area protection, and a clear rubber boot is available for use with standard plugs. The MRJ series is ideal for demanding applications in medical equipment, ATM machines, lottery terminals, GPS positioning equipment, military vehicles, radios, computers, test equipment, mobile communication systems, and traffic control systems.
