The Kycon 1119 Series K99X IDC D-Subminiature Connector is designed for reliable connectivity in a variety of applications, including computer peripherals, data processing, telecommunications, industrial controls, and local area networks. Featuring a robust metal construction with bright tin shells for exceptional conductivity, grounding, and EMI/RFI shielding, these connectors offer secure mating retention through indentations on the metal plug shells. The IDC termination allows for easy connection of flat cables, either individually or daisy-chained, and is compatible with automatic assembly machines. This series meets the requirements of MIL-C-24308, EIA RS-232, and RS-449 standards.
