The new RockStar enclosures are designed for extreme environmental conditions, offering resistance to seawater and a high degree of shock resistance. They meet IP 68 and IP 69K protection degrees and are developed for high vibration requirements according to DIN EN 61373 cat. 2 (bogie). This housing family is ideally suited for fault- and maintenance-free operation of heavy-duty connectors in transport and traffic engineering, power engineering, and applications with extreme requirements. Measures were also implemented to make the enclosures extremely EMC-resistant.
