Cinch Dura-Con Micro-D Connectors
Product Overview
Cinch Dura-Con connectors are engineered for applications demanding
rugged, durable, and high-performance interconnects. Designed to
minimize weight and space while maximizing reliability, Dura-Con is
ideal for miniaturized airborne electronics and data processing
equipment requiring shorter signal paths. The core of the Dura-Con
system is the innovative twist pin contact, featuring a precision
miniature spring cable with seven spring members that ensure
consistent contact under radial forces. This design offers high
reliability and resistance to shock and vibration, making them
suitable for harsh environments such as airborne or space
applications. The Dura-Con family includes MIL-DTL-83513 series
connectors and commercial equivalents, offering a wide range of
termination and hardware options, including insulated wire,
uninsulated wire, solder cups, and PCB tails. Custom capabilities
are also available to meet specific application requirements.
