The 3M Textool Axial Lead ZIP Strip Sockets are designed for devices with .050 (1.27 mm) lead centers that are unformed or extend axially from the package. These sockets feature a lever-actuated zero insertion force mechanism for easy lead insertion and removal. The socket design, without a top-plate cover, allows for horizontal insertion of leads, making them ideal for use in pairs to accommodate non-standard Flat Packs with leads on .050 (1.27 mm) centers. They accept pins up to 0.14 (0.36 mm) to 0.25 (0.64 mm) square.
