Q1. What does the part number “190501‑11‑00‑00” signify?
A: The base number “190501” identifies the Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer family. The next digits (‑11) typically specify the

mounting hardware option (for example, stud or plate mounting), then (‑00) might specify the connection option

(e.g., MIL‑C‑5015 or other), and the last (‑00) may indicate agency approvals or special options. Always

check the full datasheet/ordering information for exact variant details.

Q2. What is the sensitivity and output type?
A: The typical sensitivity is ~100 mV per in/s (which is ~3.94 mV per mm/s). This means for each in/s of

vibration velocity you get ~100 mV of output. For metric: ~4 mV/mm/s. The output is an

analog voltage from the piezoelectric velocity sensor.

Q3. What frequency range does it cover, and why is that important?
A: The transducer covers down to ~1.5 Hz (±3 dB) or ~3.0 Hz (±1 dB) up to about 900–1,000 Hz. The

low‑frequency coverage is significant because many fan/cooling‑tower machines run at slow

speeds (e.g., 90 rpm = 1.5 Hz) and standard velocity transducers might not

adequately capture those low vibration frequencies.
