Understanding how paper rolls can be turned into paper cups can help us better understand their original design intention:
Unwinding and feeding: A huge paper roll is installed on the paper cup machine, and fan-shaped paper sheets are fed out at a constant speed.
Cup wall forming and side sealing: Fan shaped paper sheets are wrapped around a conical mandrel mold, rolled into the shape of the cup wall, and the side seams are firmly bonded by hot air or ultrasonic technology.
Stamping and bonding of cup bottom: A circular cup bottom paper sheet (usually from another type of roll) is stamped out and tightly bonded to the bottom of the cup wall through a curling process, forming a sealed cup bottom.
Cup rim curling: The upper rim of the cup is rolled up to form a sturdy loop. This enhances the strength of the cup mouth, prevents lip cutting, and improves the overall stiffness of the cup.
Cuping and Stacking: The finished paper cups are pushed out of the mold, automatically counted and stacked into stacks, ready for packaging.
