Application:
The 9323A260G and 9323A262G rotary distributor pumps are purpose-built for the naturally aspirated and turbocharged Perkins 1103A-33T, 1103B-33T, 1103C-33T and 1104A-44T mechanical-injection engines (3.3 L and 4.4 L, 3- and 4-cylinder) that power Massey Ferguson 2400-series and 3400-series agricultural tractors, Landini Powerfarm 85/95/105 models, JCB 3CX backhoe loaders and 526-56 Loadall telehandlers, plus Pramac GSW38P and GSW45P tow-behind generator sets. They deliver precisely-metered fuel for engines rated 55 kW to 74 kW at 2 200 r/min and are fully compliant with EU Stage II and EPA Tier 2 emission bands.
Technical specifications:
The pump housing is a single-piece, close-grain cast-iron shell with integral cam ring and distributor head, centre-line mounting flange to SAE J744 size 2, pilot Ø101.6 mm, four M10 holes on 146 mm PCD. Plunger diameter is 9 mm with 8.8 mm stroke, generating peak injection pressures up to 1 350 bar. The internal positive-displacement vane feed pump delivers 110 L/h at 350 kPa; the hydraulic automatic advance mechanism provides 5° crankshaft advance from 1 000 r/min to 2 400 r/min. Drive hub accepts 12 mm Woodruff key and is dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 Grade G2.5. Static timing is 12° BTDC ± 1°. All external seals and O-rings are FKM (Viton) compound for reliable sealing with biodiesel blends up to B20 and arctic-grade winter diesel.
Material & performance features:
The plunger and distributor rotor are machined from vacuum-degassed 20MnCr5 alloy steel, case-hardened to 0.8 mm effective depth and super-finished to 0.2 µm Ra for minimal leakage and long-term metering accuracy. Cam-ring lobes are induction-hardened to 58–62 HRC, while roller tappets receive a tungsten-carbide PVD coating to resist scuffing under high transient loads. A lightweight aluminium governor sleeve with PTFE-impregnated bore eliminates stick-slip and ensures rapid idle recovery. The pump head is sealed by a laser-welded steel cap to prevent internal pressure loss, and the electromagnetic shut-off valve is encapsulated in glass-fiber-reinforced nylon rated IP67 for dust and moisture protection. A torsional vibration damper integral to the drive hub limits peak twist to <0.15°, reducing gear-train noise and extending engine life.
