Core Working Principle
1. The core working principle of the calcite vertical mill lies in the perfect combination of "material bed grinding" and "high-efficiency classification". The process is as follows:
2. Feeding: Raw calcite is fed into the mill through an air-locked feeder and falls onto the center of the rotating grinding disc.
3. Rolling & Crushing: The centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the grinding disc brings the material between the grinding rollers and the grinding disc. The grinding rollers, pressed by the hydraulic system, roll and crush the material.
4. Drying & Conveying: The crushed powdery material is blown up by the hot air flow (optional, for drying purposes) entering from the bottom and conveyed to the dynamic classifier at the top.
5. Classification: The high-speed rotating classification impeller separates the powder that meets the fineness requirement, which then enters the collection system along with the air flow; the unqualified coarse powder is thrown back to the grinding disc for re-grinding.
6. Collection: The qualified finished powder enters the high-efficiency pulse bag filter along with the air flow, is collected, and becomes the final product.
This closed-loop system ensures extremely high grinding efficiency, low energy consumption, and precise fineness control.

  1. Feeding & Rotation:
    The motor drives the grinding disc to rotate via a reducer. Material is fed centrally through the inlet while hot air enters the grinding chamber.

  2. Grinding & Crushing:
    Centrifugal force moves material toward the disc edge, where it is crushed by grinding rollers in the annular groove.

  3. Drying & Classification:
    High-speed airflow carries the ground material upward. Moisture is evaporated during contact with hot air. Larger particles fall back for regrinding.

  4. Separation & Collection:
    A dynamic separator classifies the powder. Fine, qualified powder is collected as the final product, while coarse powder returns for further grinding.
