Product Overview
The Longdai screw press sludge dewatering machine is a non-clogging
spiral filter press designed for high-performance sludge treatment
in demanding industrial environments. By efficiently reducing
sludge volume, it eliminates the need for additional sedimentation
and concentration tanks, significantly cutting construction and
operational costs for wastewater treatment plants. Equipped with a
unique self-cleaning mechanism using screws and moving rings, and
fully automated PLC control, this machine offers a modern, reliable
alternative to conventional dewatering equipment such as belt
filter presses and chamber filter presses. Its low rotational speed
ensures minimal power and water consumption, outperforming
centrifuges in efficiency and establishing it as a leading solution
in sludge dewatering technology.
Working Principle
Flocculated sludge enters the filtration zone from the mixing tank
and is conveyed toward the discharge end by the rotating screw. As
the pitch between the screw flights gradually decreases, mechanical
pressure on the sludge increases, effectively squeezing out
moisture. The released water escapes through gaps between the
moving and fixed rings, while the continuous movement of the rings
prevents clogging by self-cleaning the filter gaps, ensuring
uninterrupted operation.
