Stainless steel embossed sheets with a bright bead pattern
(thickness ranging from 0.6mm to 2.0mm) are premium metal products
that combine aesthetic appeal, functional durability, and anti-slip
properties. The "bright bead" pattern features uniform, raised
circular motifs that create a distinctive textured surface,
enhancing both visual interest and practical performance.
Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel alloys, these sheets
exhibit excellent resistance to corrosion, rust, and wear, making
them ideal for diverse applications in architectural, industrial,
and decorative fields. The embossing process not only adds a unique
decorative element but also improves mechanical properties such as
strength and surface hardness.
2. Common Grades
304 Grade
The most widely used Austenitic stainless steel, 304 offers a
balance of corrosion resistance, formability, and strength. It
withstands general atmospheric corrosion, mild chemical
environments, and is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications
where moderate corrosion resistance is required.
316 Grade
Known as the "marine grade" stainless steel, 316 contains
molybdenum, providing superior resistance to chloride-induced
corrosion (e.g., saltwater, harsh chemicals). It is ideal for
coastal projects, marine equipment, and industrial environments
with high moisture or chemical exposure.
201 Grade
A cost-effective Austenitic alloy, 201 has lower nickel content
than 304/316 but offers good mechanical strength and formability.
It is commonly used in non-critical decorative applications and
indoor environments with low corrosion risks, such as interior wall
cladding or furniture.
430 Grade
A Ferritic stainless steel, 430 features good corrosion resistance
in dry environments and excellent heat resistance. It is often
chosen for applications requiring magnetic properties or resistance
to high-temperature oxidation, such as oven components or
automotive trims.

4. Surface Finishing
Primary Embossing Process
The bright bead pattern is created through a cold-rolling embossing
process, where a pre-polished stainless steel sheet is passed
through rollers engraved with the bead design. This ensures precise
pattern replication and consistent surface texture.
Additional Surface Treatments
- Mirror Polishing: Enhances the "bright" appearance, achieving a
reflective surface with Ra ≤0.1μm.
- Brushing (Hairline Finish): Creates a uniform, directional matte
texture, reducing fingerprint visibility.
- Color Coating: Electrophoretic or PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition)
coating can be applied to achieve colors like gold, bronze, or
black, combining pattern texture with decorative coloring.
- Anti-fingerprint Coating: A protective layer is applied to minimize
smudges and simplify maintenance, ideal for high-touch areas.
5. Applications
Architectural Decoration
- Interior wall/ceiling cladding in hotels, shopping malls, and
luxury residences
- Exterior facades and curtain walls (316 grade recommended for
coastal areas)
- Elevator interiors, escalator panels, and staircase railings
Industrial Equipment
- Machine covers, control panels, and instrument enclosures (improved
grip for manual handling)
- Food processing equipment (304/316 grades for hygiene compliance)
- Chemical storage tanks and pipelines (316 grade for corrosive
environments)
Consumer Products
- Kitchen countertops, sink panels, and appliance casings (201/304
grades)
- Furniture components (tables, cabinets) with decorative texture
- Automotive interiors (door panels, dashboard trims) for premium
aesthetics
Marine and Coastal Projects
- Boat decks, railing panels, and offshore platform walkways (316
grade for saltwater resistance)
6. Packaging and Transportation
Packaging
- Inner Protection: Each sheet is individually wrapped with
anti-static plastic film or kraft paper to prevent scratches and
dust accumulation.
- Edge Protection: Foam strips or cardboard corners are applied to
protect sheet edges during handling.
- Outer Packaging: Sheets are stacked on wooden pallets (treated for
international shipping) and secured with steel strapping. For bulk
orders, wooden crates with moisture-absorbing desiccants are used
to prevent rust in humid conditions.
Transportation
- Sea Freight: Standard container loading (20'/40' GP/HQ) with proper
lashing to avoid shifting. Marine-grade packaging (316-grade sheets
may require additional anti-corrosion measures).
- Air Freight: Suitable for urgent orders, with lightweight packaging
to minimize cargo weight.
- Handling Notes: Avoid exposure to rain or direct sunlight during
transit. Store in dry, well-ventilated warehouses with flat storage
to prevent sheet deformation.
