The OMRON CJ1W-NCF82 is a high-performance PROFIBUS-DP Master Unit designed for seamless integration of Omron's CJ1 series programmable logic controllers into PROFIBUS networks. The module can manage up to 125 slave devices per network with a maximum I/O capacity of 7680 bytes total for both input and output data combined. It operates on a 5V DC power supply drawn from the CJ1 backplane with a maximum current consumption of 0.65A.

The unit features a PROFIBUS connector complying with IEC 61158-2 standards and supports DP-V0 and DP-V1 protocols for comprehensive PROFIBUS functionality. The module's operating temperature range is 0 to 55°C with a storage temperature range of -25 to 65°C. It provides extensive diagnostic functions including slave station diagnostics, configuration diagnostics, and network diagnostics with detailed error information available through the CPU unit.
