The Ground Flare System is a key component in industrial safety and emission management,

It is used to safely combust process vent gases, emergency discharge gases, and low-pressure hydrocarbon streams generated during production, storage, and transportation.
To meet national emission standards and ensure zero visible smoke under high load operation, Ruiding provided an optimized enclosed ground flare solution. The system adopts a multi-nozzle burner array with precise air-assist control, ensuring complete combustion and minimizing NOx generation.
The treatment system handles up to 2500 Nm³/h of hydrocarbon gas and 1200 Nm³/h of mixed VOCs, covering an installation area of 18 × 10 meters. The integrated unit includes a knock-out drum, pilot ignition skid, air-assist system, flare combustion chamber, and PLC control cabinet.
The flue gas fully meets GB13223-2011 emission standards, achieving safe, stable, and environmentally friendly operation.
The Ground Flare System operates on the principle of controlled thermal oxidation.
The process includes the following stages:
Gas Pretreatment:
Waste gas passes through a knock-out drum to remove entrained liquids and solids before entering the flare
system.
Distribution and Mixing:
The clean gas is evenly distributed to multiple burners, mixed with air or steam to promote turbulence and ensure complete
combustion.
Ignition and Flame Control:
Each burner is equipped with an automatic pilot ignition system and flame monitoring sensor, enabling precise flame detection and automatic re-ignition in
case of flameout.
Combustion Chamber:
The enclosed combustion chamber effectively contains radiation and
heat, maintaining smokeless, odorless, and low-noise operation.
Emission:
Combusted flue gas is vented through the exhaust stack, fully
complying with emission standards and ensuring safe dispersion into
the atmosphere.
High Combustion Efficiency & Low Emission:
The system achieves ≥98% combustion efficiency, effectively destroying hydrocarbons and VOCs while maintaining
low NOx and CO emissions.
