Application:

This equipment is specially developed to carry out drilling, chamfering, tapping and milling processes on plate-type components and structural parts. It is mainly applied to the high-efficiency drilling of workpieces including flanges, discs, rings and plates—on the condition that the thickness of these workpieces lies within the effective processing range. The equipment is capable of drilling both through holes and blind holes in single-material components and composite materials alike.

1. Workbench

The machine bed is manufactured through a welding process and undergoes secondary annealing and aging treatment prior to precision finishing. This ensures it exhibits exceptional dynamic and static rigidity, with no risk of deformation. Two high-precision linear guide rails are installed on each side of the bed base, enabling the guide rail sliders to bear force uniformly—thereby significantly enhancing the machine tool’s overall rigidity and resistance to tension and compression. The drive system adopts AC servo motors paired with precision ball screw assemblies for dual-side transmission, which realizes the Y-axis directional movement of the gantry.

2. Movable Gantry

The movable gantry is a cast component processed from gray cast iron (HT250). Two sets of ultra-high load-bearing rolling linear guide pairs are mounted on the front side of the gantry. A set of precision ball screws, in conjunction with a servo motor, enables the power head slide plate to move along the X-axis; additionally, a drilling power head is installed on the power head slide plate. The movement of the gantry is accomplished by the servo motor driving the ball nut to rotate on the ball screw via a precision coupling.

3. Movable Sliding Saddle

The movable sliding saddle is a precision cast iron structural component. It is equipped with two ultra-high load-bearing CNC linear guide sliders, along with a set of precision ball screw pairs. In addition, a high-precision planetary reducer is connected to the servo motor—this configuration serves to balance the weight of the power head, reduce the load on the screws, and extend the service life of the screws. Meanwhile, it drives the drilling power head to move along the Z-axis, enabling the power head to perform actions such as rapid feeding, feeding, retracting, and stopping. The movable sliding saddle also features automatic chip breaking, chip removal, and pause functions to support smooth machining operations.

4. Automatic Lubrication Device and Protective Device

This machine tool is outfitted with an original volumetric partial-pressure automatic lubrication device sourced from Taiwan. This device enables automatic lubrication of all kinematic pairs—including guide rails, screws, and racks—without any dead zones, effectively safeguarding the machine tool’s service life. Additionally, the X-axis and Y-axis of the machine tool are equipped with dust-proof protective covers, while waterproof splash baffles are installed around the workbench to prevent contamination and liquid ingress.
