As a specialized metal bath apparatus, it is engineered for accurate determination of grease drop points according to GB/T3498 specifications.

Testing Principle

The testing procedure involves placing grease samples into a specialized grease cup equipped with a drop point thermometer. Under controlled heating conditions, the instrument precisely measures the temperature at which the first drop of liquid falls from the sample, defining this critical temperature as the drop point.
