Topographic Condition:The HDD entry point of Tongming Strait is in a village,Tongming Strait exit point is in a farmland beside the seawall.

Construction difficulties:

1. Distance: 4071 meters HDD Project (370 steel pipes welded together);

2. Complex geologic structure, High Demand of Mud Matching;

3. Prefabricated curve should meet the demand of radius of curvature

II. Construction Equipment

Risk Prevention:Construction site is equipped with 1 set of GT5000 Ejector Sleeve; When reaming back, it adopts turning rolls and pipe ditch to send pipeline, protecting all turning points.
Reaming(second time):Using 500mm, 800mm Fluted Reamer
Pulling pipeline:Using Barrel Reamer

VI. Construction Conclusion

It is the first time for us to finish such a long-distance project in China, it is a valuable experience for future construction project.

named “Research on Key Technologies and Product Development of Heavy-duty 
intelligent trenchless directional drilling rig”. The company R&D center was 
recognized as China Machine Engineering Technology Research Center, many 
products have obtained the mechanical industry science and technology 
progress awards from national and provincial government. In 2018, "GOODENG" 
won the "China Well-known Trademark".
In 2022, the company was in the directory of listing cultivation plan for Jiangsu 
Technology Enterprise. The first “Goodeng Machine” overseas manufacturing 
base broke ground in Thailand in the same year, covering an area of nearly 
80000 m². The company also has two manufacturing bases in China, covering 
an area of more than 100000 m², with more than 500 employees, a number of 
modern intelligent production lines, which can provide 3,000 sets various types 
of machinery per year. "Goodeng Machine" products are sold all over the 
country, and also exported to nearly 50 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, 
Australia, South America and Africa. "Goodeng Machine" realizes resource 
sharing and creates greater value for customers through the gradually 
expanding global marketing branch.
