1.2343 die steel is a type of hot work die steel, mainly used for manufacturing die-casting molds, hot extrusion molds, and hot forging molds that operate in high-temperature environments. Its fundamental principle is to endow it with the ability to resist deformation, wear, thermal fatigue and cracking under high-temperature, high-pressure and high-speed thermal cycling conditions through appropriate chemical composition and heat treatment processes, thereby ensuring that the mold can maintain dimensional accuracy and good surface quality during long-term high-temperature operation, and produce qualified die-casting or forging products. 1.2343 die steel belongs to electroslag remelting hot work die steel.
