| 1. The quality of pump installation has a significant impact on the smooth operation and service life of the pump, so installation and calibration work must be carried out carefully and not hastily. |
| 2. The installation height, length, and diameter of the pump suction pipe should meet the calculated values, striving for simplicity and reducing unnecessary losses (such as bends); And ensure that the pump does not exceed its allowable cavitation allowance during operation. |
| 3. The suction and discharge pipelines should have brackets. The pump is not allowed to bear the load of the pipeline. |
| 4. The location for installing the pump should be spacious enough to facilitate maintenance work. |
| Installation sequence: |
| 1. Place the unit on a foundation with embedded anchor bolts, and use paired wedge pads for calibration between the base and the foundation. |
| 2. Loosen the coupling shaft and place a level on the pump shaft and base respectively. Adjust the wedge pad to calibrate the level of the unit, and tighten the anchor bolts appropriately to prevent movement. |
| 3. Correct the concentricity of the pump shaft and motor shaft, with a permissible deviation of 0.1 millimeters on the outer circle of the connecting shaft; The gap between the two coupling planes should be ensured to be 2-4 millimeters, and the gap should be uniform with a tolerance of 0.3 millimeters for small pumps. |
