Product Details:

The GE IS215VPROH1B is a Turbine Protection Board, a core component in GE’s Mark VI system, forming an independent emergency overspeed protection system alongside TPRO and TREG terminal boards. As a triple-redundant solution, it ensures turbine safety by managing emergency overspeed protection, emergency stops, and backup synchronization checks. It connects to trip solenoids via TREG and TRPG, enabling rapid turbine shutdown during critical faults. Equipped with Ethernet for IONet communication, it integrates with controllers for monitoring and testing, while supporting analog/thermocouple inputs for gas turbine exhaust temperature monitoring.

Features:
Triple Redundancy: Three independent boards with separate processors, power supplies, and I/O, allowing hot-swapping without compromising protection.

Overspeed Protection: Uses three dedicated magnetic speed pickups per board to detect EOS, with configurable trip limits and verification via I/O configurator.

Trip Solenoid Control: Manages up to three triple-redundant trip solenoids via TREG’s 12 relays, ensuring reliable emergency shutdown.

Diagnostics: Front-panel LEDs and comprehensive fault monitoring for relays, solenoids, and inputs.

Connectivity: Ethernet for controller communication, VME interface for programming, and latching connectors for TPRO/TREG links; J7 supplies 125V DC power.

Versatile Inputs: Supports three analog current inputs, nine thermocouple inputs, and backup synch check with 115V PT inputs.

Safety Integration: Functions independently from the main control system, enhancing reliability in critical turbine protection scenarios.
