The GE IS200EPSMG2A is an Exciter Power Supply Module, a key component in GE’s EX2100 Series, specifically designed for regulator control in excitation and turbine control systems. As part of Group 2 EPSM modules, it integrates an IS200EPSDG_A daughterboard to modify power input paths, enabling higher voltage handling with enhanced creep and clearance. The module converts DC link bus voltage using a buck regulator and push-pull inverter, delivering multiple isolated outputs to power control system components. Though part of an obsolete legacy series, it remains critical for maintaining older EX2100 setups.

Features:
Dual Conversion Stages: Buck regulator converts input to 50V DC; push-pull inverter generates multiple outputs, with a transformer isolating input and control system power.

Voltage Outputs: Supplies +5V DC, ±15V DC, +24V DC to backplanes, plus ±24V DC for fans/relays, isolated +70V DC for contact wetting, 20V AC for IGBT gates, and ±55V DC for ground detectors.
