The structure and characteristics of commonly used copper clad
laminates:
(1) Copper-clad phenolic glass cloth laminate
It is a composite product made of impregnated alkali-free glass
cloth and epoxy phenolic resin thermocompression bonding. Coated
with copper foil on one or both sides. It has the advantages of
light weight, good mechanical and electrical system performance,
and convenient processing. The surface is light yellow. If we use
melamine as selective curing agent, the surface of the board will
be light green with good transparency.
(2) Copper-clad phenolic paper laminate
It is a laminated product made of impregnated paper (tfz-62) or
cotton fiber impregnated paper (1tz-63) by hot pressing into
phenolic resin. The double-sided protective tape can be attached to
a piece of alkali-free glass impregnated tape, covered with copper
foil on one side.
(3) Copper clad epoxy glass cloth laminate
It is a common material for punching holes in metallized printed
circuit boards.
(4) Copper-clad PTFE laminate
It is a copper-clad laminate, which is based on a PTFE sheet,
coated with copper foil, and hot-pressed.
