While the Alloy C276 Sheet has a higher rate of work hardening in comparison to its austenitic counterpart grades, an in processing annealing may be required if the Nickel Alloy C276 Sheet is to be work hardened to a higher degree. A solution annealing process may be required if the Nickel C276 Strip undergoes a deformation rate of more than 15%.
ASTM B575 Alloy C276 Plate is resistant to general corrosion, stresscorrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion in a broad range of severe environments. Alloy C276 Hastelloy plate has exceptional resistance to sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
