A213 TP316L is a high-quality austenitic stainless steel tube manufactured according to the ASTM A213 standard. This standard covers seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel tubes for use in high-temperature and high-pressure environments such as heat exchangers, boilers, superheaters, and furnaces. The U-Bend Tube is specifically designed for applications where tight curvature is needed, and it is commonly used in heat exchangers and condensers. TP316L is a low-carbon version of TP316, which provides enhanced weldability and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for a variety of industrial applications.

Chemical Composition:

- Chromium (Cr): 16.0% - 18.0%

- Nickel (Ni): 10.0% - 14.0%

- Molybdenum (Mo): 2.0% - 3.0%

- Manganese (Mn): 2.0% max

- Silicon (Si): 1.0% max

- Carbon (C): 0.03% max (This is the key difference with TP316, which typically has a higher carbon content)

- Phosphorus (P): 0.045% max

- Sulfur (S): 0.03% max

- Iron (Fe): Balance

Mechanical Properties:

- Tensile Strength: ~ 515 MPa (75,000 psi) (typical)

- Yield Strength: ~ 205 MPa (30,000 psi) (typical)

- Elongation: ~ 40% (in 50 mm gauge length)

- Hardness: ~ HRB 95 (typical)

Physical Properties:

- Density: ~ 7.98 g/cm³

- Melting Point: ~ 1375°C (2507°F)

- Thermal Conductivity: ~ 16.2 W/m·K (at 100°C)

- Specific Heat: ~ 500 J/kg·K

- Modulus of Elasticity: ~ 200 GPa

- Thermal Expansion: ~ 16.0 × 10^-6 /°C (at 20°C to 100°C)
