Portable IV Tester (YH-BXIV)

The portable IV tester is a standard string-based power tester that can accurately complete power detection and IV curve testing for individual modules and strings, standard power conversion efficiency under STC, and PV power plant system PR value testing. The Chinese version of the system is easy to operate, portable, and is equipped with a high-precision irradiance meter and temperature sensor. Its fast and accurate testing efficiency makes it the preferred model for third-party testing agencies and power plant operations and maintenance.

The portable IV tester YH-BXIV has a localized configuration with a Chinese interface and one-click testing mode. It is simple to operate and carry, with after-sales efficiency and maintenance costs far exceeding those of imported configurations.

The YH-BXIV adopts an integrated packaging machine body design, is easy to operate with clear Chinese and English interface descriptions, one-click data export, and a testing speed of 10 seconds for individual modules/strings. The device has a built-in database of multiple photovoltaic panel specifications, allowing for one-click import to reduce the hassle of switching between different specifications during testing.

• The PV32 portable IV tester has a unique component power generation test function that complies with the IEC61853 regulations for component certification testing adopted by the EU or for local sunlight resource monitoring. The tester also provides up to 400 points of high-resolution testing and Ethernet monitoring compatible with the Modbus/tcp protocol, meeting scientific research needs.
• The portable IV tester has a unique compensation design that supports outdoor verification of photovoltaic cells, suitable for outdoor performance testing of photovoltaic cells still in the experimental stage.

Performance Advantages:

Solar panel cracks can affect the entire panel. However, through IV characteristic testing, the open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current losses can be analyzed using software, showing a loss of 10.9% and 53.7%, respectively, with a noticeable change in the power loss curve, which reaches 67.8% and STC-63.5%. The portable IV tester helps assist EL detection to determine whether the component can continue to be used.

STC Nominal Parameter Conversion Testing: The IV test matches over 95% of current photovoltaic cell specifications, quickly switches between different specifications, and automatically calculates the module's current power generation efficiency and conversion rate, helping users understand the real parameters of the components more accurately.

Specifications:

• (1) Tested at 25°C under standard testing conditions
• (2) Conversion to STC under the most accurate power condition is measured under stable irradiance ≥ 700W/m², with an AM1.5 spectrum. In laboratory conditions, this accuracy is generally within 2%. On-site testing should be performed under stable sunlight conditions with the irradiance probe installed reliably to avoid conversion errors caused by irradiance and temperature deviations.
