XBJ series Edge milling machine is designed by our company by furnishing with big power milling head and enlarging body base. It is an efficient and advanced equipment for processing plate/sheet before welding. Comparing to edge planer, it can save power & cost, and provide enough roughness for surface. Hence, it is a necessary equipment for many industries such like pressure container, shipping yard, electronics, chemicals, and metal structures.

  • XBJ series Edge milling machine is designed by our company by furnishing with big power milling head and enlarging body base. It is an efficient and advanced equipment for processing plate/sheet before welding. Comparing to edge planer, it can save power & cost, and provide enough roughness for surface. Hence, it is a necessary equipment for many industries such like pressure container, shipping yard, electronics, chemicals, and metal structures. It can achieve following chamfering edge:

It has following features comparing to other supplier:

the traveling unit, can motorized elevated, manually forward/backward, manually angle adjusted. Hence, the position of the cutter plate can be adjusted freely to achieve straight chamfering and any direction edge. And the milling speed is variable adjustable through inverter motor, to fulfill any milling speed and rapid return. Furnished with 7.5Kw milling heads, the body and milling device are all enlarged comparing by using 5.5Kw head.
  • There is one set of milling head on travel device, can mill upper/bottom and straight edge, the angle can be freely adjusted 0-45o, to achieve different angle chamfering edge. By using different blade, it can milling different materials such as carbon steel, alloyed steel, stainless steel, etc. We provide a Φ125mm cutter with machine when delivery.
  • The machine body is a welded structures, Stress release is treated after welding. So deformation is reduced and achieve stable working.
  • The guides are fixed onto the body by bolts in separate parts. The guides are made by 45# mild steel and finely processed to shape, surface is quenched and finely milled, which can give good precision and wear resisting property.
  • For easy to position the plate, there are plate hold device on one side of machine body. Pull out to block the plate and return manually inside body after the plate is hydraulic fixed on.
  • The milling feed device is driven by motor & gearbox, the speed is variable from 0.15 to 1m/min, return speed can reach 4m/min to improve production effeciency.
  • Under the press beam, we furnish all hydraulic jacks and get rid of mechnical jack, because hydraulic jacks can provide powerful and stable pressure and reduce vibration & noise when milling.
  • The press beam and machine body are connected direcly, so the machine has good rigidity.
  • Hydraulic system is separately made (separate pump station), furnished with accumulator to assure the sheet to be clamped on working table always during milling. Pump station is placed beside machine on floor.
  • Power cables for traveling device are collected through multi-tube sliding contact bars, compact, tidy and safe.
  • The traveling guides are parallel. The upper guide are protected by protect cover on whole length, to avoid damaging by dropped scraps or dust. The bottom guide protection, is through dust shaver on the travel device.
  • On the travel device, there is manually lubrication pump, which serve ten drops oil every minute. This volum can assure a protection lubrication film on guide surface and keep clean on site.
  • On feeding side of the machine, there is a set of material feeding rack. There are rollers on the rack. After lift the sheet on the rack, by those rollers, the sheet can be moved to position easily.
  • Customer can load two or more small sheets on the machine. The two or more plates can be loaded and clamped separately.
